Bartłomiej Oleś

Bartłomiej Oleś is a renowned Polish percussionist, composer, and music producer born in Sosnowcu in 1973. With a career spanning over 15 years, Oleś has recorded over 30 albums, several of which have been acclaimed as jazz albums of the year. His work extends beyond traditional jazz, as he also creates electronic music under the pseudonym Drumbientone. Oleś has collaborated with numerous distinguished figures in the music industry since 1991, both in Poland and internationally. His dynamic performances and innovative compositions have made him a standout figure in the jazz world. In December 2023, Oleś premiered his new project, the Bartłomiej Oleś Quartet, along with the debut of his composition "Eleven Phrases." Additionally, Oleś is the twin brother of Marcin Oleś, a renowned double bassist and composer.
