    "Tres" van het Leopold String Trio is een meesterwerk van kamermuziek dat de grenzen van het genre verlegt. Met een indrukwekkende collectie werken van grote componisten zoals Bach, Beethoven en Mozart, neemt dit album je mee op een reis door de rijke geschiedenis van de klassieke muziek.

    Het album begint met de beroemde Goldberg Variaties van Bach, gearrangeerd voor strijkkwartet door Sitkovetsky. Deze 30 variaties zijn een technisch hoogstandje en tonen de virtuositeit van het Leopold String Trio. Vervolgens volgen de Serenade voor strijkkwartet van Beethoven en het Divertimento voor viool, altviool en cello van Mozart, die beiden een mooi voorbeeld zijn van de klassieke kamermuziek.

    Het album wordt afgesloten met de Piano Quartetten van Mozart, die een prachtige afsluiting vormen van dit meesterwerk. Met een speelduur van 3 uur en 25 minuten is "Tres" een waardevolle aanwinst voor elke klassieke muziekliefhebber.
