"The Mother of Us All" is een meeslepende neoclassicale compositie van de Amerikaanse componist, muziekcriticus en auteur Virgil Thomson. Uitgebracht op 1 april 2014 door Albany Records, biedt dit album een diepgaande en introspectieve kijk op het leven en de erfenis van Susan B. Anthony, een pionier in de strijd voor vrouwenkiesrecht in de Verenigde Staten. Met een speeltijd van 1 uur en 51 minuten, bestaat het album uit 12 nummers die de verschillende scènes en suites van de opera vertolken, variërend van intieme reflecties tot levendige politieke verhalen.
