"Susan Chilcott in Brussels" is een indrukwekkende collectie van operarollen, opgenomen levend in de prachtige zaal van de Monnaie in Brussel. Deze CD, uitgebracht in 2011 door het label Cypres, biedt een unieke kans om de talenten van de Britse sopraan Susan Chilcott te ervaren in een verscheidenheid aan klassieke werken. Met een speeltijd van 57 minuten, omvat dit album negen prachtige nummers, variërend van de bekende aria's van Giuseppe Verdi en Richard Strauss tot de moderne opera's van Philippe Boesmans en Benjamin Britten.
Het album begint met een variatie uit "The Turn of the Screw" van Benjamin Britten, gevolgd door enkele iconische aria's uit Verdi's "Otello". Daarnaast zijn er fragmenten uit Richard Strauss' "Ariadne auf Naxos" en een modern werk van Philippe Boesmans, "Wintermärchen". Het album sluit af met twee nummers uit Benjamin Britten's "Peter Grimes".
