Vladimir Martynov, een van de meest vooraanstaande componisten van de Russische avant-garde, presenteert met de Martynov Edition een omvangrijk overzicht van zijn werk. Deze zevendelige boxset, uitgebracht ter gelegenheid van zijn 75e verjaardag, biedt een diepgaand inkijkje in het oeuvre van een componist die bekend staat om zijn minimalistische en transcendente stijl. De opnames, gemaakt tussen 2004 en 2018, omvatten een breed scala aan werken, variërend van kerstmuziek en requiems tot meer experimentele composities.
