Claude Delvincourt, geboren in Parijs in 1888, was een Franse pianist en componist van klassieke muziek. Zijn muzikale talenten bloeiden vroeg op onder de begeleiding van zijn moeder, een getalenteerde pianist. Delvincourt studeerde piano en theorie bij Leon Boëllmann en later harmonie en contrapunt bij Henri Büsser. In 1908 trad hij toe tot de compositieklasse van Charles-Marie Widor aan het Conservatoire de Paris, nadat hij eerder een graad in de rechten had behaald. Zijn carrière werd gemarkeerd door de Prix de Rome in 1913, hoewel hij ernstig gewond raakte tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog in 1915. Delvincourt's composities omvatten een breed scala aan genres, waaronder kamermuziek en filmmuziek, en zijn werk blijft een waardevolle bijdrage aan de Franse klassieke muziek.
