Michael Haydn, geboren als Johann Michael Haydn, was een uitstekend Oostenrijkse componist van de Klassieke periode, bekend om zijn indrukwekkende bijdragen aan de kerkmuziek. Geboren op 14 september 1737 in Rohrau, was hij de jongere broer van de beroemde Joseph Haydn.
