"Gustav Leonhardt Plays Bach" is een indrukwekkend album dat de meesterwerken van Johann Sebastian Bach in de schijnwerpers zet, uitgevoerd door de legendarische Gustav Leonhardt. Dit album, uitgebracht op 7 mei 2012, omvat een omvangrijk repertoire van Bachs composities, waaronder "The Well-Tempered Clavier" (Boek I en II) en delen uit "Die Kunst der Fuge". Met een speeltijd van ruim vier uur en 21 minuten, biedt dit album een diepgaande en uitgebreide ervaring van Bachs geniale pianowerk.
Gustav Leonhardt, een van de meest gerespecteerde namen in de wereld van klassieke muziek, brengt zijn unieke inzichten en virtuositeit naar voren in deze opnames. Zijn interpretaties van Bachs werken zijn bekend om hun precisie, diepte en emotionele expressie.
