"Fair Child of Beauty" is een fascinerende verzameling van werken van de Britse componist Ralph Vaughan Williams, uitgebracht in 2016 door Albion Records. Dit album biedt een diepgaande kijk op het late werk van Vaughan Williams, met name zijn masque "The Bridal Day" en het epithalamion, beide geïnspireerd door zijn levenslange liefde voor de dichteres Ursula Wood.
Het album omvat 22 nummers, verdeeld over twee hoofdwerken. "The Bridal Day" is een uitgebreid masque dat in acht scènes is verdeeld, elk met zijn eigen unieke tempo en sfeer, variërend van rustig en contemplatief tot levendig en uitbundig. De tweede helft van het album bestaat uit het epithalamion, een reeks liedjes die de bruiloft en de liefde vieren, met bijdragen van bariton Philip Smith en de Joyful Company of Singers onder leiding van Peter Broadbent.
De opname, geleid door Alan Tongue met de Britten Sinfonia, brengt de rijke harmonieën en complexe arrangementen van Vaughan Williams' muziek tot leven.
