Antonio Caldara's "Brutus" is een meeslepende verzameling van zes wereldse bascantates, opgenomen in 2018 door het ensemble Stile Galante onder leiding van dirigent Stefano Aresi. De bariton Sergio Foresti brengt de diepzinnige en dramatische composities van Caldara tot leven, die zich richten op heldhaftige en grootschepse situaties.
