Bob Chilcott, de voormalige zanger van The King's Singers en een gerenommeerd componist uit de rijke Britse kathedraalmuziektraditie, presenteert zijn nieuwste album "All Good Things" op 8 september 2017 via het label Naxos. Dit album, met een speelduur van 1 uur en 11 minuten, is een verzameling van koorwerken die Chilcotts unieke stijl en zijn vermogen om emotie en diepte in zijn muziek te brengen, perfect weergeven.
Het album begint met "Ophelia, Caliban & Miranda", een driedelig werk dat geïnspireerd is op Shakespeare's "The Tempest". Vervolgens volgen "Marriage to My Lady Poverty" en "Jazz Folk Songs for Choirs", waaronder de bekende "Scarborough Fair". Chilcott's "Jazz Songs of Innocence" is een vijfdelig werk dat zijn interpretatie van William Blake's gedichten weergeeft. Het album sluit af met de "Nidaros Jazz Mass", een opmerkelijk werk dat traditionele liturgische teksten combineert met jazz-elementen.
