Enrique Granados, geboren als Pantaleón Enrique Joaquín Granados Campiña, was een briljante Spaanse componist en concertpianist uit Catalonië, die een blijvende indruk heeft achtergelaten op de wereld van de klassieke muziek. Geboren in 1867, groeide hij op in een multiculturele omgeving, met een vader van Cubaanse afkomst en een moeder uit Noord-Spanje. Granados staat bekend om zijn vermogen om Franse elegantie en Spaanse volksmuziek te combineren in zijn werken, wat resulteerde in een unieke en herkenbare stijl.
