Ocean Sounds, een artiest geïnspireerd door het werk van Eva Hoonhout, brengt de luisteraar dichter bij de geluiden en ritmes van de oceaan. Hoonhout, alumni van de Main Department Studio for Immediate Spaces, heeft een jaar lang onderzoek gedaan en een residency volbracht, wat resulteerde in een rijke collectie van geluiden en verhalen. Dit album is een weerspiegeling van die diepgaande exploratie en onderzoek.
Elk deel van het album is zorgvuldig samengesteld om een specifiek aspect van de onderwaterwereld te benadrukken, van de rustige, diepe geluiden van de diepzee tot de levendige, dynamische geluiden van koraalriffen.
