    The Notorious B.I.G., geboren als Christopher George Latore Wallace, was een iconische Amerikaanse rapper die een onuitwisbare indruk heeft achtergelaten op de hiphopwereld. Met zijn karakteristieke flow en diepgaande teksten veroverde The Notorious B.I.G. snel de hart van fans over de hele wereld. Zijn debuutalbum "Ready to Die" en zijn postuum uitgebrachte album "Life After Death" zijn beide klassiekers in de gangsta rap en East Coast hiphop genres. Ondanks zijn korte carrière, die tragisch werd beëindigd door zijn moord in 1997, blijft zijn invloed en erfenis voortleven, waardoor hij tot op de dag van vandaag wordt beschouwd als een van de grootste rappers aller tijden.
