Noël Akchoté, de veelzijdige muzikant en componist, brengt op 6 september 2024 een nieuw album uit getiteld "Chansons Grenon, Fontaine & Vide". Dit album is een unieke mix van genres, waaronder free jazz, avant-garde, minimalisme, middeleeuwse muziek en experimentele klanken. Met een duur van slechts 29 minuten, biedt Akchoté een compacte maar intense muzikale ervaring.
Het album bestaat uit een reeks traditionele middeleeuwse chansons, allemaal bewerkt voor gitaar door Akchoté zelf. Deze bewerkingen tonen zijn vermogen om historische muziek te herinterpreteren door middel van moderne en experimentele technieken. Elk nummer is een ode aan de middeleeuwse poëzie en muziek, maar wordt gepresenteerd in een geheel nieuwe vorm.
Akchoté, bekend om zijn werk in de free jazz en experimentele muziek, brengt met dit album een frisse blik op middeleeuwse muziek. Zijn vorige uitgaven, zoals "Books Of Bix" en "The Last Item", tonen zijn vermogen om verschillende genres te integreren en nieuwe klanken te creëren.
